As part of the advisory program at Granite Hill School, the students competed in a Punkin’ Chunkin’ contest today. All weeks the teams worked on designing a machine (catapult, slingshot, or trebuchet) to launch pumpkins. While distance and accuracy were taken into account, theme, teamwork and good sportsmanship were also scored. Congratulations to the Jack-o-lantern Patch on the overall win!
