It can be difficult and expensive to put in a challenge course. Which elements to build? Highs, lows, a combination of the two? Single build or space out over a few years. Last year we were fortunate to receive a grant that funded the installation of four high elements for a challenge course, and that jump started the process for us. We have given them regular use through the Fall and now again in the Spring.

We have a portable Spider’s Web that may soon find a permanent location on the course. While the “traditional” use involves lifting people through, many challenges can engage students without anyone leaving the ground!

Our newest addition of a Moby Deck has been a huge hit with the students. It has not been “officially” used in a program, but several students have seen it and asked to try it out. This group of four did well together, working to balance with conversation an small movements!
With a slackline and soon to have balance beams, we continue to grow!
Now if we only had a Nitro Crossing…
